A little about me...
I am married to Kerry, who is the Police Chief of Commerce. I have 4 children; Kayla, Brandon, Cameron and Allyson. I have 2 grandchildren, Savannah and Jett. I am not a native of Commerce. I moved here 12 years ago with my family. I grew up most of my childhood (since I was 10) in a little community called, Pine Forest. I went to school at Como-Pickton, which was a small 2A school back then. I graduated with about 52 students. Afer graduation, I moved to Sulphur Springs and lived there until 12 years ago, after my husband was promoted to Police Chief.
For those of you who have not had me in the past as a teacher, I am very easy going. I believe all children can be successful and I will do my part to help them.
I love for families to be involved in their child's education as much as possible. Studies show that the more family involvement in children's education, the more successful the child will be! So will you take this journey for the next school year with me and be a part of your child's education? That means....making sure homework is done and communicating with the teacher!
